The Mouse a Cookie

This week  's culinary proverb refers to one of the Netherlands ' beloved beverage: milk.

 Geeft een muis EEN koekje than ever, wil ook een glas HIJ Melk.

 The literal translation is here  'if you give a mouse a cookie, they also want a glass of milk '. It is used to understand that when someone offers something small, it is expected to express more all the time.
